Juan J. Dominguez is a nationally recognized, award-winning, bilingual attorney based in Los Angeles. His personal injury and consumer rights law practice is one of the most well known in Southern California. Since 1987, Juan J. Dominguez, a Professional Law Corporation, has grown to more than 70 employees and has recovered in excess of $300 million in verdicts and settlements in personal injury and workers’ compensation injury cases across Southern California.
Dominguez and his law firm stand for three ideals: the dignity of the individual, excellence and service. These guiding principles represent the belief system championed by Juan Dominguez and embraced by all who work in his law firm. The paramount objectives are providing courteous and professional service while obtaining the best results for clients.
Dominguez has been recognized by groups in California and throughout the country for his achievements. He was named Latino Attorney of the Year in 2013 by the Hispanic National Bar Association. Other honors include: Receiving the Martindale-Hubbell Client Distinction Award, being a finalist in the Latino Business Awards from the Los Angeles Business Journal in partnership with the Latin Business Association, and being nominated as Attorney of the Year by the Consumers Attorneys of California (CAOC) in 2011. COMPASSION FOR THE COMMUNITY
Dominguez contributes to and is involved with more than 50 charitable causes, both in the U.S. and abroad, helping disadvantaged families, children, the homeless, and sponsoring sports teams for both children and senior citizens.
Other philanthropic contributions focus on education. Dominguez established a college scholarship fund for students graduating from Los Angeles area underprivileged, inner city schools. He has sponsored scholarships to the Neighborhood Academic Initiative program at the University of Southern California, which is designed to prepare low-income neighborhood students for admission to a college or university.
Care and compassion for the community, particularly for those who are underserved, began at an early age for Dominguez. The example of his hard-working immigrant parents, his humble upbringing in Southeast Los Angeles, and his experiences working at two major trauma centers helping the seriously injured have greatly influenced his life. As a result, Dominguez has become one of the most renowned and successful injury attorneys in Southern California, as well as a patron of charitable causes, and a loving family man. In 2011, California State Sen. Kevin De Leon recognized Dominguez with a senate certificate for his “extraordinary achievements and contributions to the City of Los Angeles.”
Dominguez has frequently appeared on Univision, Telemundo, La Estrella (KRCA), Mundo Fox, as well as on other TV and radio stations, and at large festivals and community gatherings, such as Los Angeles Fiesta Broadway.
