From the Desk of Attorney Juan J. Dominguez
I am pleased and proud to report that our Law Offices have grown significantly in the past two years. We have more attorneys on staff and amplified the legal services to our clientele. Notably, we now represent and defend clients accused of crimes. We also represent clients injured during working hours under the Workers Compensation legal system. Moreover, in the past year we have represented clients regarding real property earthquake damage to homes and buildings against intransigent insurance companies.
Significantly, I am currently the lead attorney representing over 10,000 workers, in combination with several other law firms regarding injuries caused to Central Americans working in plantations from exposure to dibromochloropropane (DBCP) pesticide chemicals. The clients are being represented individually by our group of law firms. The defendants in our legal Complaints are Dow Chemicals, Inc., Dole Foods Company, Inc, and AMVAC Inc. amongst several other additional multinational companies named defendants. I oversee the legal work by all lawyers both here in the United States and in Central America. I also have monthly radio broadcasts providing status to the affected communities, public and clients.
Lastly, we are seeking to civilly prosecute slumlords that rent uninhabitable apartments in unhealthy living conditions and refuse to remedy these noted deficiencies despite having received official notice to correct these problems by the Housing Authority and the Department of Building and Safety.
This past year has been very busy for our law offices and we are glad to continue to expand our staff and legal services to provide better service for our clients.
